Cherry Active - What is it?
Cherry Active is a juice concentrate made from Montmorency cherries. Cherry Active has been tested for its antioxidant activity by Brunswick Laboratories. It has been found to have an Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity (ORAC) value of 8260 µmol TE per 30mL portion.
A diet with an average of five portions of fruit and vegetables per day typically contains an ORAC value of between 1470 and 1870 µmol TE.

What are ORAC Units?
The ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity) unit, ORAC value, or "ORAC score" is a method of measuring the antioxidant capacity of different foods and supplements. It was developed by scientists at the National Institutes of Health. Foods that are higher on the ORAC scale will more effectively neutralize free radicals.
